Megasys Hospitality Systems and Nathan Hale High School Team-Up
to Bring Portfolio HMS to the Classroom
Tulsa, OK -August 2009 - Megasys Hospitality Systems, provider of Portfolio HMS, the flexible property management software, will team up with Tulsa Public Schools.
The Tulsa Public School System, in Tulsa OK, through Nathan Hale High School, has launched a new Magnet program providing early education to students interested in pursuing future careers in the Hospitality Industry.
The program, titled “Restaurant, Lodging and Health Management Program”, will build a solid foundation of knowledge and hands-on experience relating to each of these businesses and how they are successfully owned and operated. In addition to a certificate of completion, each student will earn an internship in their field of study within the Tulsa Hospitality community.
Megasys recognizes the future benefit this program can bring to the entire Hospitality industry. We are proud to sponsor a portion of it by providing our software and training services to its educators, team leaders and students. The general curriculum was developed by the American Educational Hotel and Lodging Institute so students will gain valuable knowledge specific to industry standards utilizing our Portfolio HMS and MegaTouch POS systems.
