Megasys was formed in September 1989. The first Megasys solution was beta site ready in December of 1990. The Grandview Park Inn (Tulsa, OK) was selected as the beta site and served as the corporate offices of the Megasys until December of 1997. Megasys continued to introduce new modules to address expanding market needs. Here are some milestones:
The Early Years
- Sales and Catering - June of 1992.

- Package Planning capabilities for enhanced yield and revenue management - January 1995
- Ticketing System for golf courses, spas, entry/theatre ticket sales, etc. – February 1998
- LodgePro™ Lite, a product geared for the smaller operation - January 1999
- Touch screen features were added to the MegaTouch Point-Of-Sale system - June 1999

- GT (International Gaming Technologies) certified interface to Megasys Property Management Systems.

- Web Reservations - real-time, 2-way access via XML and/or HTML interfaces
- GDS interface for TravelClick, Pegasus/Unirez and SynXis – real-time 2-way interfaces

- Camp BackPack Software Solutions – Reservation and property management software for the Camp market
