SALES and CATERING
Delivery Format: On-line Training/On-Site Custom Training/Megasys Training Center
Duration: 4 hours (delivered in 2 hour increments)
Audience: The target audience is the Sales and Catering Staff
Prerequisites:
Pre-Configuration: Sales and Catering Configuration (8 hours based on size of menu’s)
Course Description:
This course is designed to develop users’ understanding of the Megasys Sales & Catering Module, configuration and generate reports.
Course Objectives:
- User will learn how to set up and enter a “BEO” in the system.
- User will be able to generate Sales and Catering Reports.
- User will understand the configuration options in the Sales and
- Catering module.
Course Agenda:
User will enter the following configuration using the Function Room Configuration Menu (FNC). These are all required codes for booking events.
- Set Up Codes
- Meeting Room Master
- Event Codes
- Audio Visual Codes
- Availability Screens
- Catering Module Overrides (Strongly suggested)
- Confirmation Message (Not mandatory)
- Function Tax Codes
- Meeting Room Turn Around Times (Not mandatory)
- Market Types
- Standard Menu Items
- Standard Menus
- Associated options
- Function Room Book Screen
- Client Prospecting
- Mass Event Processing
- Copy Events to Multiple Dates
- Change Guarantees
- Print Guarantees
- Print Confirmations
- Print Banquet Checks
- Master Convention Folio Maintenance
- Cancel Master Convention Folio
- Sales & Catering Reports using the Sales & Catering Report Menu (FNR)
- Banquet Menu (BQT) in order of usage.
- The BQT Menu is usually used by the Banquet Manager to post function charges.
- Add/Edit Journal Items
- Print/Update Banquet Checks
- Banquet Room Availability
- Change Guarantees
- AV/Set-Up Report
- Banquet Check Worksheet
- Folio Posting
- Display/Print Folio
- Shift Closing
- Enter Existing BEO’s in the system.
Recommended Experience: Groups and Events background helpful.
