NIGHT AUDIT
Delivery Format: On-line Training/On-Site Custom Training/Megasys Training Center
Duration: 4 hours (delivered in 2 hour increments)
Audience: The target audience is a new night auditor and/or the accounting staff of the property who needs an introduction and training on the Megasys Night Audit.
Prerequisites: For Night Auditors, Reservation and Front Office Training
Course Description:
This course offers a full training to the Megasys Hospitality Technology Night Audit and audit processes. This course is designed to develop users’ understanding of the audit process as well as checking prior shifts, producing reports and posting corrections and adjustments.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the primary use of the NAS and CCS menus and options.
- Understand the night audit process
- Understand shift history and how they may impact the audit
- Understand the research functions as applies to the audit shift.
- Understand the displays and reports available
- Understand the generic role of the auditor
Course Agenda:
- Review the purpose of the primary night audit menus, NAS and CCS
- Review and print various reports that may be needed for the audit shift
- Review the purpose of Shift History and how it can be utilized
- Explain and confirm prior shift closings
- Explain and run an audit
- Explain all reports produced from the audit
- Explain how to balance all ledgers
