Course Description:
This course is designed to teach basic hotel configuration and setup.
Course Objectives:
Understand and complete the basic hotel configuration. This will include, but not be limited to the general ledger, fiscal periods, the hotel master screen, configure rooms and other property necessary configuration.
Course Agenda:
Overview of the Megasys PMS system.
Discuss and create the Hotel Master (GLC).
- Create the Fiscal Periods.
Discuss, demonstrate and create the mandatory accounting sections.

Discuss and enter Room Types.
Discuss and enter Special Feature Codes.
Discuss and enter Room numbers, combining the room types and special feature codes to the rooms.
Discuss and enter Suites if needed for this property.
Discuss and enter Market codes and rates.
Discuss and authorize rooms for sale. Check the availability screen.
Discuss and enter all additional Hotel System Configuration on the FC1 menu.

Make a new reservation using the system configuration input.
Recommended Experience: Basic hotel and computer skills helpful.
