Course Description:
This lesson is designed to develop users’ understanding of the Megasys Group Menus and options and reports pertaining to the Group sales office.
Course Objectives:
- User will be able to use the availability screen.
- User will be able to identify the components of booking a group.
- User will demonstrate knowledge of the group menu options for add on charges, and allocations.
- User will demonstrate the procedures Deleting Released Groups
- User will demonstrate the procedures for group check in and check out
- User will demonstrate the Process options of the GRP menu.
- User will use and demonstrate the Group Reports
Course Agenda:
Overview of the Group Module (GRP, GRR).
Overview of the availability screen.
Book a group, reviewing all options as the user books the group.
- Client Code Entry, used by both Catering and Groups
- Group General Information, which will define the group master and send some defaults to individual group reservations
- Creation of the group master folio OR connecting the group to a catering event
- Pick up defaults which default to individual group reservations
- Travel agent information
- Authorizing room types for the group and defining the group rates
- Allocating rooms for the group
- Releasing unused rooms
Link an add-on charge to the group they have booked.
Review the Group Process options.
- Group allocations

- Group Mass Rate change
- Cancel Group Pickups (canceling individual group reservations)
Review Group Check-ins and check outs
