CONDOMINIUM MANAGEMENT
Delivery Format: On-line Training/On-Site Custom Training/Megasys Training Center
Duration: 6 hours (delivered in 2 hour increments)
Audience: The target audience is the Condo Accounting Staff.
Prerequisites: Reservations/Front Office/Accounting (32 hours)
Pre-Configuration: Hotel Master Configuration (40 hours), Manager/Supervisor Training (6 hours)
Course Description:
This course offers the condo accounting staff an intensive training on the property management of a Condominium property. This course is designed to develop the users’ understanding of Condominium Configuration, Condominium Recurring Charges, Condominium Owners, Condominium Rental Pool and Condominium Engineering.
Course Objectives:
- User will setup a Condominium property using the Condominium Configuration Menu (CCF).
- User will configure the Association Codes.
- User will setup the Complex Codes.
- User will setup the Revenue Pool(s).
Course Agenda:
Setup several condo units to demonstrate the complete configuration process. This allows for entry of the unit owner(s). As each unit is created, the owner of that unit is entered and attached to their unit. A corresponding A/R account is created for each individual unit owner.
- Review all associated Condominium Menus:
- Condominium Configuration Menu – (CCF)
- Condominium Recurring Charge Menu – (COR)
- Condominium Owner’s Menu – (COW)
- Condominium Engineering Menu – (CNG)
- Condominium Rental Pool Menu – (CNP)
**Reviewing the above menus will prepare the user for the additional configuration that they may wish to do using the above menus, with a focus on the Engineering menu**
Recommended Experience: Some accounting background is helpful.
