ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Delivery Format: On-line Training/On-Site Custom Training/Megasys Training Center
Duration: 4 hours (delivered in 2 hour increments)
Audience: The target audience is a new payable clerk or accountant of the property who needs an introduction and training on the Megasys Accounts Payable Module.
Prerequisites: None
Course Description:
This course offers a full training to the Megasys Hospitality Technology Accounts Payable menus, options and reports. This course is designed to develop users’ understanding of the Megasys vendor configuration, the payable journal, printing payable checks, available displays and reports.
Course Objectives:

Understand the primary use of the APS and APC menus and options.

Understand the vendor configuration (maintenance)

Understand the account payable journal
-
Understand the check registers and how to print checks

Understand the displays and reports available
-
Understand the void invoice and void check option
Course Agenda:
-
Review the purpose of the payable module menus, APS and APC.

Review the purpose of the FLC, GLS, GLJ and FRS Menus
-
Explain and configure a vendor
-
Explain and input data into the payable journal
-
Explain and produce a Cash Requirements Report
-
Explain and create a check run
-
Explain and create a manual check
-
Explain and practice the void options for both invoices and checks

Explain and produce all displays and reports
Recommended Experience:
Prior payable experience with another system.
The course can be modified for first time payable clerks.
